For actors, singers, and performers who need to move

Book the role. Move like you belong in it.

Partner dancing, period style, and stage-ready movement for actors, singers, and musical theater performers who need real skills on a resume.

The engineering behind Floorcraft

Sound familiar?

If any of this is you, you are in the right place.

  • Casting keeps asking if you can dance, and you want to say yes and mean it.
  • You can act and sing, but partner work and period style trip you up.
  • You need trained movement, not just enthusiasm, to compete for roles.

Where this goes

You walk into the audition able to waltz, tango, or swing on cue, and you move like the character instead of hoping the choreographer is patient.

  • Genuine partner-dance and period-style skills.
  • Confidence to move well on stage and in auditions.
  • A line on your resume you can actually back up.

What we build toward

I stopped bluffing the dance call. I learned to actually waltz and tango, and it has already booked me work.

Good questions

The things people ask first.

Can you prep me for a specific role or style?

Yes. Private lessons let a coach drill exactly the style a role or audition needs, whether that is a Viennese waltz, an Argentine feel, or 1950s swing.

I move well already. Will this be too basic?

We place you by ability. Trained performers usually jump ahead quickly, and we focus on the partner and period specifics stage work demands.

Group classes or private lessons?

Both help. Group classes build broad social skill and musicality, private lessons target a role. Many performers do a mix.
